Weddings Landscapes Scenery Art
Anything, anything at all, can catch the photographer's eye and may be worthwhile taking a picture. I like people photos, landscapes, scenery and animals...but sometimes, there's just plain "things" or objects or knic-nacs...or whatever! Sometimes it's just hard to find a category but you know, hey this thing is of interest to my eye. So let's photograph it! Just remember though, there is a difference between a snapshot and a photograph. What I mean is that a photograph of value has to be good and to be good, it has to have qualities of shape, pattern, composition, balance and point of interest. Remember that photographs are just "instant paintings" and many of the same rules apply, which to the artist become second nature by gift and by practice. So don't just take a snapshot, make a photograph!
